~Final High Poly Renders~

okay, got around to finishing up my high poly and polypaint (which i'll be using as a good start for my final diffuse after some experimenting), sorry about the lateness, we've been swamppppped at work @_@
(sorry about the super huge files! i just put so much work into her, i wanted to be able to show it )

so this is my Final Poly Painted High Poly:

Greyed High Poly with a comic matcap composited:

Plain High Poly:

learned to make gifs out of turntables thanks to Haz and Funky!

Base Mesh (i ended up duplicating her for her arms and legs and deleting the other pieces in the subtool, though in her actual body subtool, i kept the arms and legs hidden, just in case :)

this is how i composited my renders for the high poly, much thanks to Haz for helping me get rid of the beard look

some references for her clothes and just shots that inspired me

sites likes http://pinterest.com/ really helped me to find some nice references and inspiring steampunk material! http://pinterest.com/search/?q=steampunk+fashion :)

here are the clothing seam Zbrush brushes i always use by Ryan Kingslein (free gnomon workshop stuff) www.thegnomonworkshop.com/store/freebies/downloads/GnomonWorkshopClothingSeams.zip

also Michael Dunnam has some awesome free Zbrush brushes and alpahs too! i haven't had a chance to use them yet, but i'm excited to try out the new stitch alphas http://www.michaeldunnam.com/free-stuff.html

i also use Selwy's cloth brushes allthetimeforeverything, they've helped me out a lot in the past few years so here is a link to this cloth tutorial page with the free ZBrush brushes: http://www.selwy.com/2009/zbrush-clothes-tutorial/

i was also doing some test zbrush renders for my final high poly set up, i saw Olivier Thill's method forever ago when he was working on his 3d made comic book (http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?93536-zbrush-comic) so used some of the matcaps he posted on the second page or you can just click here (http://www.zbrushcentral.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=211227&d=1282410653)

if you're interested in some more comic matcaps, Nick Zuccarello (http://nickzucc.blogspot.com/) has some nice ones he's sharing http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?165050-Comic-ink-matcap-pack-for-download
